Organization is Sexy

Hey everyone!! So I was thinking about what I need for organization in the new apartment so I am working on creating PDF files for bill organization, grocery lists, budget sheets and so on. I will make all my files available to you so you can use them in your life as well!! I was looking and couldn't find cute formats for organization so I created totally cute files for you!! Enjoy!!


I thought what would be most beneficial to me would be to make a binder to keep all your important organization documents...So I will be giving you the outline of the one I am creating as well as all the supplies you will need to help as you turn your hot mess into hot progress.

Make Your Own Anthro Lamp

This gorgeous Anthropologie lamp is $198.00 online!

As stunning as it is not everyone can afford to but a 200 dollar lamp base...especially me. I started looking into how to make my own and I came across a blogger who had set out to do the very same thing. Retropolotin's post is about what simple elements you would need to assemble a tea set lamp. New Floor Plan

This is the floor plan for my sexy new apartment!! It has just enough space to be super cozy and fabulous! This week is the planning and scheduling week for getting my stuff down to Florida...wish me luck. I'll definitely put before and after photos on here so you can see what even you can do with any kind of space. The possibilities are endless...Happy DIYing all.

Stop overpaying for fab furniture

Hey everyone! So before I moved down here I found a link for how to make an ottoman out of an old pallet!! So shabby chic right! So anyway, my mom decided to make the perfect ottoman for my apartment...I'm including the link for you so you can make your own as well as the finished product my mom made!! She's so crafty :)

Trouble in Paradise

Trying to get a new apartment in a different state is a horrible process to undergo if you are a recent college graduate. No one wants to pay for your degree anymore which I suppose is due to our horrindous economy. I recently got a job working at Bath and Body Works to make money down here while looking for my job as a legal assistant before law school...however, I keep running into issues with actually starting work in the middle of apartment financing and changing my life. UGH...yes, frustrating. The store manager won't be back into the office until next Monday...so I'm still playing the waiting game...I'm not a patient individual...so I've been occupying my time pondering new DIY adventures and moving strategies. Fun right?! We shall see. Coming up will be which DIY projects I'm thinking about tackling as well as the follow up pics for when I put my spin on them!!
